    • Give specific examples of techniques a client may use to facilitate a change in posture for problems affecting the pelvis, upper limbs, and lower limbs.
Postural Correction Online CE Course presents 30 of the most commonly occurring postural conditions, providing hands-on therapists and body workers the knowledge and resources to help clients address their malalignments. Focusing on treatment rather than assessment, the course takes a direct approach and applies specific techniques to improve posture from an anatomical perspective instead of an aesthetic one.

The techniques demonstrated are ones available to most therapists. The primary concern in the course is teaching participants which muscles to lengthen and loosen and which to shorten and strengthen. Techniques vary for each posture and could include deep tissue massage, simple passive stretching, soft tissue release, deactivation of trigger points, or gentle traction of a limb.

Recognizing that the work clients can carry out independently is a crucial component of long-term postural correction, the accompanying text includes information on how clients can continue their therapy independently between sessions or at the conclusion of their therapy. Much attention is paid to lifestyle, activities, and habitual use or resting of body parts that may have led to the initial pain and malalignment.

The course study guide contains course instructions, learning objectives, study activities, and a referenced answer key to prepare learners for the exam at the conclusion of the course. The final exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions that address concepts found throughout the course materials. Upon passing the exam, individuals may print out and submit a certificate for continuing education credits.

Postural Correction Online CE Course is a valuable adjunct to any joint-manipulation technique and will guide learners in correcting malalignments at a specific joint and with a more holistic approach.
